About the International Exchange Division
The International Exchange Division provides support in preparing our students to study abroad at our partner institutions. We also provide full support for international students from partner institutions to make their experience here as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Furthermore, to promote the internationalization of Tokyo Medical University (TMU), we have collaboration agreements regarding academic and student exchange with educational and research medical institutions worldwide.
Clinical Clerkship at Tokyo Medical University
Tokyo Medical University accepts overseas students from universities with which we have formal student exchange agreements. The International Exchange Division provides our overseas students with comprehensive support and assistance, starting with application procedures to student life while studying in Japan. We hope our overseas students can deepen their understanding of Japanese culture and people, and enrich their educational experiences while at Tokyo Medical University.

Located in Shinjuku, a skyscraper-lined central area of Tokyo, this medical institution provides cutting-edge medical care as a designated advanced treatment hospital.
